HALLEY DANTE
Halley grew up in a Filipino, christian household in Thailand. Despite her background, her faith only became personal in highschool when she learned what it meant to truly rely on God and surrender her life - not just her strengths but especially her burdens. Since then, she has continued to experience the truth of 2 Corinthians 12:9 - "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Currently, Halley is a PhD student at Boston University studying biomedical engineering with an emphasis on neural engineering. Prior to BU, she studied at Loyola Marymount University in LA and graduated with an Individualized Studies which integrated biology, math, psychology, and computer science courses. Beyond academics, Halley really likes to be creative and active – she often turns to singing, drawing, or playing sports in her down time!
